We are very grateful to Sally Etheridge for offering to raise funds for Baby Milk Action. She is taking place in 150 km bike ride on 25 June - during UK National Breastfeeding Awareness Week - and is seeking sponsors.
Sally is pictured left in training with her daughter - full details about the event are given below.
Money raised will be split 50 - 50 between Baby Milk Action and a breastfeeding peer support group local to Sally (after deduction of payment card/PayPal fees).
You can contribute to Sally's fundraising via Baby Milk Action's secure online Virtual Shop using the button here.
UPDATE: Sally raised £200 for Baby Milk Action and £200 for her local peer support group. Many thanks to Sally and all who sponsored her.
For information on how we use money donated to us, see our Year Reports.

Breastfeeding Awareness Week 2011
On Sat 25th June I shall be riding the Ron Kitching 150km Cycle Challenge, hoping to raise funds for two breastfeeding causes -
Wesley Hall MAMMAS Community Breastfeeding Peer Support Project
&
Baby Milk Action www.babymilkaction.org
If you would like to sponsor me for this ride that would be great! If you can persuade anyone else to sponsor me too, that would be amazing!
The Ron Kitching Cycle Challenge in an annual event, that covers around 95 miles from the city of York, across the North York Moors, and back. Tough and hilly! If I wish to I can even take the option of climbing ‘The Chimney’, known as the hardest climb in the country! For more information about the Ron Kitching Cycle Challenge, visit

On behalf of the babies – Thank you for your support
